The Dutch researchers Remco Reiding today received an award for his research into Russian war graves of Soviet soldiers in the Netherlands. In a certificate speaks Russian President Vladimir Putin personally recognition for the work of Reiding.

These are Soviet soldiers buried on the Russian Field of Honour in Leusden. On the field are 865 war casualties, mostly from the former Soviet Union. 198 victims of the foundation has overtaken the identity and contacted the relatives.
Reiding hopes the recognition of Putin’s support from the Netherlands and Russia represents for the project. The award was presented by the Russian Ambassador to the Netherlands Roman Kolodkin.
