Lawsuit Facebook blown against CBP – Telegraaf.nl

THE HAGUE –

The case of Facebook against the Dutch Data Protection Authority (CBP), the privacy watchdog of the government, of course. That both parties on Wednesday. The case would serve on May 20 at the court in The Hague

The CBP conducts research on the new terms of use which Facebook earlier this year introduced. The privacy watchdog had in the course of this investigation requested information. The social media site did not disclose this initially, then the CBP threatened with a fine. Facebook sued to get out of here, but the company has now informed the information to deliver at short notice. There is therefore provisionally no more penalties.

The CBP expects to get the information as quickly as possible. “We will then assess whether it is adequate and whether we can complete the ongoing investigation,” the spokeswoman CBP
