Earlier this week Oculus the organization behind the popular Rift VR goggles, the system released the Oculus Rift consumer version. Last month, Oculus also announced that the long-awaited consumer version of the VR goggles has been postponed until 2016.
The recommended specs of the Oculus Rift are released on the website of Oculus. According to the company, the hardware requirements in the coming years remain the same, for the recommended specifications, at least an Intel Core i6 4590 requires an Nvidia or AMD GTAX 970 or 290. In addition, it is recommended to 8GB of RAM for proper operation.
It is also a requirement to have at least Windows 7 with Service Pack 1 or higher, yet the support for Linux and OS X ‘on hold’ put. When the development of alternative operating systems, weather does not, however, made it clear start. Oculus is planning to launch the Rift early next year, the development boot version is currently the only version that is available

For the Oculus Rift are pretty tough specifications required, including at least a strong video card; GTX 970 AMD or 290 or higher. The Oculus Rift currently only works on desktops, since most laptops do not have the internal capacity to control the Rift
