For five months Skype busy testing the powerful translation tool Skype Translator with a limited group tester. Now there is a version that can be tried out by all Windows users.

The translator uses a modified version of Skype’s Windows 8 application to spoken words into text and then in audio. The translator works well enough to hold a conversation with someone who speaks you do not understand any of the above languages.
