The free version of Spotify’s music streaming should soon be possible to use only three months by new members. So say anonymous sources against the website Digital Music News.
Spotify users can in the current situation, free unlimited listening music, as they increase advertisements on the sale. People can take out a subscription to get rid of advertising. Under pressure from some major record companies and in view of the impending launch of Apple’s music service Spotify would like to revisit this business model.
The new structure can make people who already have a free account using another six months there , reports Digital Music News. After this period, a paid subscription to be closed. Some artists and labels can choose their music longer free of charge available on Spotify. They will then be in a kind of talent playlist.
Along with a free, non-interactive radio feature which should cause the freemium version still remains popular and at the same time recover more paying users. Now there are about 15 million, a quarter of the total number of members. The record labels are reportedly not satisfied with that. Spotify would not warm up themselves for the changes.
