Computer Merkel hacked – Het Nieuwsblad

Hackers have a cyber attack on the German Parliament a computer infected by Chancellor Angela Merkel. Also became infected a number of other computers.

         

This was reported by the German newspaper Bild Sunday. The hackers had used in their attack of a ‘Trojan horse’ to gain access to the computers. A computer located in Merkel’s office in the Bundestag, would have been one of the first where the virus was found, reports the German newspaper.

A spokesman for the CDU, Merkel’s party wants the Information in the newspaper “neither confirm nor deny.” There is also no one could tell from the entourage of the Chancellor or the cyber attack data on her computer were seized.

According to Bild the Trojan horse was seen in fifteen computers that were connected the computer network of the Bundestag. Data would be captured at least five of those computers. The hackers would according to Bild also sent e-mails with an infected link from Merkel’s email account.
