The tenth time you drop your phone crack the screen suddenly or after a little too drunk evening has risen your phone water damage of beer. Balen. As many as one in five people leaving them with damage to their smartphone because it is too expensive to repair.

This is the finding of research Multi Scope . For this 1013 Dutch have been questioned. People find it frustrating that there is damage, but see no reason not to use the smartphone

The most common damages:. Broken screens, fast dying battery or malfunctioning buttons or sliders. Young people have the most damage to their phone. One in three 18 to 24 year olds have a faltering smartphone. Especially damaging the screen is more common among 18 to 45 year olds compared to 45 group.

On average Dutch have 16 months to use their smartphone. One in ten smartphones are used. Women and young people opt for a second smart phone.
