A prototype of a solar-powered plane is working Google last month, crashed after a test at a private airport in the state of New Mexico. That says a company spokesman to Bloomberg.
The Solara 50 is an unmanned aircraft with a wingspan of 50 meters and solar panels on the wings. The unit fell early May shortly after takeoff for unknown reasons from the air. The US authorities are now trying to figure out why the plane, developed by subsidiary Titan Aerospace, ran into trouble.
