Wifi Hotspots Ziggo and UPC from April 13 together – NieuwsUit.com

As of April 13, it is possible both Ziggo and UPC to use the hotspots on a single network. This was announced by the providers Ziggo and UPC used after the merger will go through under the name Ziggo.

Much of the modems both Ziggo and UPC also act as hotspot. The advantage is that users connected at Ziggo and UPC, under conditions of each point can use Wi-Fi. This means that over 2 million “free” Wi-Fi hotspots will be available for the customers of Ziggo and UPC.

After the merger, Ziggo will have an almost nationwide cable network. About 90% of all households in the Netherlands can be reached to use via Ziggo services as (digital) television, internet and mobile telephony.
