Since September, Google is working on his App Runtime for Chrome (ARC), to expand the app offer their own laptop operating system Chrome OS by adding support for Android apps.

There was a hack available that ARC also made working in Chrome versions for Windows, Mac and Linux. From this Thursday officially supported by Google, says Ars Technica . This iOS is the only major OS that no Android apps can run.

Each developer can have Android app now make ARC and put that in the Chrome Web Store. There are now specially made Chrome apps and plugins available.

Restricted

Android Apps desktops are still more limited than on Google’s mobile operating system. Not all Google services used by Android apps available.

Google Apps can do use service for push messages and cards and advertising service of the company. Also can log in to Google+ and apps can retrieve the location of the user.

The ability to in-app purchases within ARC does not exist. All apps that contain that possibility will stop working when they are converted for use within Chrome for desktops.

Developers

Google will probably in the near future support for Google Play services in ARC process. The Internet giant Android Apps seems to want to make almost universal, making it more attractive for developers to develop their apps for Android first.

ARC is based on Android 4.4 and does not use the faster app- ART system that Google introduced with version 5.0 (Lollipop) of the system
