Google has rolled out a software update today for Google Play Services. This update makes it possible to release an Android 5.0 device Lollipop via voice recognition. Users can set this way of unlocking desired, this way is less secure than a fingerprint for example.
The release of the Android device with the voice is part of the Smart Lock system of Android 5.0 Lollipop. Through this system it was already possible to unlock the device if the device is at a particular location or connected to a specific Bluetooth device, such as a car kit or a laptop. Now that the release via the voice in as user Ok Google pronounce the device is unlocked.
Google gives all itself that this method indeed works but fraud is sensitive, through a voice recording this authentication method is simple bypass. Also, people with a similar voice, or someone who can imitate voices well, bypassing the system simple.
For most users with an Android 5.0 device Lollipop, this method is now available, but not everyone sees the method already. It can help to update as all apps from the Play Store application.
