The vast majority of secondary schools used the smartphone in education. An investigation by the NIS among 137 schools showed that 85 percent thus operates

Almost all the schools let the students there look up information along. A large majority let them use educational apps. The smartphone is often used for quizzes and tests. One in three schools use this equipment in the communication between teachers and students. About 20 percent let students work together with them.

The mobile phones are usually not to work for private purposes. On half of the schools they may be used only with permission of the teacher. Only a quarter makes use completely free.
