Polish archaeologists had to look twice when in digging up an ancient toilet a sex toy from the 18th century emerged. The dildo leather and wood is in excellent condition.
© RV. According to archaeologists, it is a dildo that some 250 years ago best what has cost. After cleaning, it was found that the 20-centimeter-long toy from very expensive leather was made of the highest quality, and is filled with bristles. The top consists of fine carving. Presumably, the user left it accidentally fall into the toilet.
,, This is an exceptional find for research into the history of erotica, ” said an employee of the regional Department of Monuments at Radio Gdansk.
Historic sex toys are quite rare because they were generally well hidden and often discarded after use. Unlike previously found wooden phalluses, did this dildo certainly not as a religious object, but it was used for sexual purposes.
