This was reported by the Korea Times Tuesday according to insiders. Huawei would have particularly targeted at the Samsung’s experts in the field of user experience and chip design.
Several employees would have left the Korean Samsung already for the Chinese Huawei. The employees were given more freedom than their previous employer.
“Talented Samsung employees are sought after by Chinese companies because they speak good English and purposeful work,” said one of the sources.
Samsung is still the largest smartphone manufacturer in the world. However, the advantage that the company has on cheaper, mostly Chinese brands such as Huawei and Xiaomi is shrinking
