The first thing you notice about the Samsung Galaxy S6 edge (SM G925F) is the design. The very bright 5.1-inch Quad HD display (with a resolution of 1,440 x 2,560 pixels, made of scratch resistant Gorilla Glass 4) edges that run a bit on the sides of the unit. The Galaxy S6 Edge comes standard with Android 5.0 Lollipop. Android Lollipop has a new Material Design, developed for different types of devices, from smartphones to tablet and laptop to TV. New in this version is also the Heads-up notification feature. This function displays a pop-up notification to the top of the screen which you can respond without having to leave the app you’re currently using. The device uses a revamped TouchWiz interface, which gets you more space to remove pre-installed applications than before. Besides all the familiar Google apps now are different Microsoft apps (OneNote OneDrive and Skype) included. The curved edges of the ‘edge’ display will only be used to display notifications.
