There is a real tattoo-gate going on in the world of Apple Watch. People with predominantly dark tattoos on the wrist are experiencing problems with the heart rate monitor watch. The watch would not work well with the ink.
The problems have come to light now several people on Twitter and Reddit complain about problems with Apple Watch. Most people are black or red tattoo around their wrist.
Users complain about incorrect heart rate readings, and even the breaking of the connection to the watch. According to MacRumors are advised to watch the first test in the store if you’ve been to a dark tattoo on your wrist and are planning to purchase one in.
Block
of tattoo ink would block the light, allowing the sensor to the blood flowing in the wrist can not properly or not at all perceive. A possible solution is to turn off the pulse detection. The disadvantage however is that as Apple Pay no longer works.
