From mid-April, the Hotspots of Ziggo and UPC merged from April 13 it is possible to both providers use the hotspots on a single network. That make Ziggo and UPC known. Both companies merge and continue under the name of Ziggo.
Many modems which simultaneously by Ziggo and UPC, users are also a wifi hotspot, hence customers which have run to subscribe to the service provider at other locations in the country to use the Wi-Fi points. So they have the ability to connect to more than 2 million points with a wifi hotspot Ziggo or UPC to internet then. The collaboration is the Hotspot network significantly increases the Netherlands.
After the merger, Ziggo has an almost nationwide cable network. The company then reaches about 90 percent of Dutch households with different services such as television, Internet and mobile telephony
