Microsoft comes up with two new low-cost Lumia’s – Overclockers

Microsoft comes up with some new Lumia transfers. The Lumia 640 and XL 640 are to be middle class. Mirosoft says that the arrival of Windows 10 this year with a high-end Lumia comes.

The Lumia’s both have almost the same specifications, but the XL version has a larger screen as expected. It is a ‘phablet’ with a screen of 5.7 “, but also the ordinary 640 gets a decent screen of 5″.

Screen

The screens have a resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. On the inside is in both units a quad-core processor at 1.2 GHz.

Storage

Both devices have 8GB of storage on board, but that is expandable via micro SD.

Camera (s)

The camera is on both devices or different. The Lumia 640 has an 8 megapixel camera, while the XL has a camera of 13 megapixels.

Battery

The sizes also come with different batteries. The ‘normal’ Lumia 640 therefore has a 2,500mAh battery, while the larger 640 XL has a battery of 3,000mAh.

Availability

The devices come from next month on the market. The 640 must be in the base 139 Euros (159 for the 4G model), the 640 XL costs 189 euros (or 219 for the 4G). The devices have Office 365 is a year of free included.

Initially, turn both devices on Windows 8.1, but they get over time on the air an update to Windows 10.
