It is not very surprising that the board of HTC has opted for Cher Wang. Wang is like Chou namely a founder of HTC. It is strange that HTC will replace the CEO immediately and HTC has no reason given for the major change in the top. Do go there for more rumors that there is discontent within the company. Not everyone would have been agreed with the Vision of Chou.
In a statement, Wang says to be happy with the new feature. “ As an entrepreneur at heart I am very excited about the many new features. I am honored to have this opportunity to be able to use and to give form to the role of CEO to the next stage of the development of HTC. “
Peter Chou will now focus on product innovation and will head the HTC Future Development Lab.
