Dutch government wants more information about Facebook users – Overclockers

Dutch authorities have Facebook in the second half of 2014 again asked frequently to see information from Facebook users. That reveals the social network today in its transparency report.

The government did in the period July to December a total of 76 such requests, covering 84 Facebook accounts. Facebook handed over nearly 65 percent of the cases actually the data. About 9 million Dutch now sit on Facebook.

In the six months before it was even 41 requests about 45 accounts. We go back even further, then it is respectively 23 and 11 applications in July and December 2013 and January to June 2013.
