Yahoo Introduces login without a password – BN DeStem

SANTA CLARA – Yahoo users in the United States, from Monday to login without a password to enter. That makes the Internet company announced in a blog post.
 

“We’ve all experienced it: you want to log and panic because you have forgotten your password,” writes product manager Chris Stoner. “After you leave crack your brains a lot, you know it suddenly again. What a relief!”

Yahoo wants to make this process less stressful by introducing on-demand passwords. In this type of logging in, the account associated with a phone number. People get an SMS with a password that want to check their Yahoo mail. Therefore they do not have to memorize complicated passwords more.

The new login method can be activated in the security settings of Yahoo accounts. This is currently only available for US users.
