The Dutch authorities have the second half of 2014 more data retrieved from Facebook. That reveals the social network today in its transparency report. The government did in the period July to December a total of 76 requests concerning 84 Facebook accounts.
In total, the government has recently made 76 requests concerning 84 Facebook accounts, in 65 percent of Where the company has actually sent the data. In the half year was still 41 requests about 45 accounts. This means there is quarter information requested by the government.
The Dutch government, police and judiciary increasingly want to know more about the people behind some Facebook accounts. There is also in the rest of the world to see a significant increase. In total requests made in 2014 9707, compared to 8774 in 2013.
