Apple goes Android phones exchange for iPhones’ – NU.nl

Apple accepts some time older iPhones and iPads in exchange for a discount on a new model in its Apple Stores. Soon it would also be possible with smartphones of another brand.

The exchange program would be launched according to the Apple news in a few weeks. Staff at Apple Stores would be trained this week in order to estimate the value of used smartphones.

In 2014, Apple launched a site that all Android users explains how to switch to an iPhone. CEO Tim Cook said that the then newly presented iPhone 6 as a reason for many people to switch. Apple saw in its most recent quarter explosive growth of iPhone sales.
