Spacewalk on ISS successfully completed – The Morning

At 18.30 pm CET, one hour earlier than planned, the astronauts had returned to the decompression compartment of the ISS, which their spacewalk was completed. During the walk of five hours and 38 minutes they installed more than a hundred meters cables and antennas, which should allow the crews of future spacecraft to communicate with the ISS during the approach for adhesion and maneuvers before departure.

After the walk, this time no water infiltration set in the helmets of astronauts. After the second hike on February 25 showed some water to sit in the helmet Virts. Reportedly the astronaut was not in danger. In the summer of 2013, the Italian astronaut Luca Parmitano nearly drowned during a spacewalk when his helmet was filled with water. He had to hurry float back inside.

The 52-year-old Barry Wilmore finished his fourth spacewalk off. Terry Virts (47) was the third outing in a vacuum.
