Lenovo launches three new tablets – Techzine

Lenovo at the Mobile World Congress introduced three new tablets, the Tab 2 A8 Lenovo, Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 and the Lenovo Ideapad MiiX Tab 2 300. Both models run on Android terwjil the Ideapad uses Windows 8.1.

Lenovo for the Tab 2 A * uses an 8-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 720. On the inside, the choice fell on a MediaTek chip MT 8161, this is a quad-core processor with a clock speed of 1.3 GHz. Furthermore, there is 1GB of memory, and 16GB of storage capacity present in the tablet. Moreover, the storage capacity can be expanded via a microSD card. At the rear is further placed a 5 megapixel camera and a front 2 megapixel camera. According to Lenovo delivers the battery of 4290 mAh enough energy to use the tablet 8 hours.

Lenovo Tab 2 A10-70 is a 10.1 inch IPS screen placed with a Full HD screen resolution of 1920 x 1200 pixels. Again, the choice fell on a MediaTek chip but the MediaTek MT8165 for the WiFi model and MediaTek MT8732 for the 4G model. Both processors are clocked at 1.5GHz and 64bit. There is 2GB of RAM and 16GB of storage capacity available which again is expandable via a microSD slot. At the back an 8 megapixel camera is placed at the front and a 5 megapixel camera. The 7000 mAh battery should provide a battery life of over 15 hours.

Finally, Lenovo Ideapad another MiiX 300 presented with Windows 8.1. On the inside, use is made of an Intel Atom chip, 2GB of RAM and 64GB of storage capacity. The IdeaPad comes with an 8-inch IPS display with a HD resolution of 1280 x 800 pixels. The battery life of this tablet is about 7 hours.

Lenovo tablets has to date only presented there are no pricing or availability yet disclosed.
