It is still a busy lot in the air. Facebook has been working on internet-drones, but Google now. The Titan drones of the company to cooperate with the Wage Internet balloons, also from Google.
To make the Titan drones, Google last year bought April drone manufacturer Titan Aerospace. Also, Facebook had been sitting put on an acquisition, but Google finally came up with the highest bid.
The Loon balloons are difficult to steer and purpose therefore is that they linger as much as possible in their place . However, the Titan drones can be concentrated to bring Internet to where the need is greatest. Both Wage Titan can remain long in the air because they are powered by solar energy and fly above the clouds.
Developing Countries
The project hopes Google to bring internet to the part of the world that currently is without. Think of developing countries and remote areas. It is estimated that the some 4 billion people.
Later this year, Titan makes its first test flight. The internet balloons hang much longer in the air and can each drive longer distances
