“Windows 10 comes with two browsers’ – Overclockers

Windows 10 would be supplied according to the latest rumors two different browsers. Besides the standard browser Internet Explorer 11 will also get Microsoft’s new operating system a different browser, codenamed Spartan.

That usually notify ZDnet very reliable, which relies on sources within the company.

Two browsers

Spartan should be a lightweight version of the default browser to IE 11. It was expected for some time that Microsoft at the launch of Windows 10 would also release a new version of Internet Explorer, but Spartan appears to be a completely different browser. It is not clear whether there will still be developed to IE 12.

According to the sources of ZDnet the browser should resemble competing browsers like Chrome and Firefox. That means that the browser will probably get support for plugins and extensions.



Ancient sites

One reason for the two browsers is not given directly, but probably has to do with showing old webpages. The new browser would especially as the standard to be used, but users can still use Internet Explorer to continue using their old IE plugins or to visit ancient sites that are not optimized for the latest browsers.

21 January, a big Microsoft event, during which the consumer preview of Windows 10 is released. That means everyone can get to work with the new OS.
