Tablet PC users as much as in the Netherlands – Androidics

tablets A study by market analyst firm GFK shows that in the Netherlands as many tablet and desktop users. Thus the number of desktop users fell last year from 8.3 million to 7.9 million, while the tablet market just increased by 8 percent

It is expected the desktop market in the coming years further decrease while the number of tablet users will continue to rise. However, the growth of the tablet market is slowly declining. The number of tablet owners in 2013 increased by about 13 percent, while the number of tablet owners in 2014 grew by only 8 percent. This percentage is expected to decline even further in 2015.

The fastest growing target group are people over 65 years. In 2013, 43 percent of those people in possession of a tablet, while this year no less than 56 percent of the 65s in possession of a tablet.

Despite the large number of tablet owners in the Netherlands are becoming less tablets sold. This has to do with the fact that people have a tablet getting replaced less quickly.
