A lot of ‘falling stars’ evening and tonight to see the sky – Focus on News

Paterswolde

If you have never get seen a shooting star, weather permitting, Saturday and night the chance.

According to the Royal Dutch Society for Meteorology and Astronomy (KNVWS) will be tonight to see a shower of stars. The stars rain starts around 20.00 and will last all night.

The stars rain will continue in the night from Sunday to Monday, only KNMI predicts more clouds which the heavenly sight earthlings will deprive rain. For evening and tonight the weather gods seem voted us favorably.

These so-called stars rain has really nothing to do with shooting stars. It involves pieces of meteor debris associated with the Geminids meteor swarm. To see a little bit of luck, there are thirty to forty meteors per hour.
