15,000 Dutch Search Results Removed By Google – Androidics

On request, Google has more than 15,000 search results removed. That equates to 42 percent of all requests for removal. Google additionally announced that removed more than 228,000 results in Europe. That’s more than 40 percent of total number of requests. Google has a total assessed some 690,000 European URLs. Part of it has not yet been closed or deleted.

The European Court of Justice has ruled in May that citizens can ask Google, search results that gives their name to remove. Google will then assess the request is justified and can proceed to remove the specified URL. However, the company is not required to remove the search results.
