This is stated in the terms and conditions of iTunes, which has recently been updated by Apple, as discovered the German iFun.de .
The change applies to countries within the European Union . The Dutch speaking terms for instance recently about a ‘right of withdrawal’ of fourteen days.
No reason needed
During this period, consumers can, without having a reason to give up, the purchase price of a particular purchase reclaim.
That purchase, for example an app, or removed from their iTunes account, and then of course no longer use.
In order to claim the money back guarantee, consumers have their purchase up to fourteen days after receiving cancel the purchase receipt.
You can with the ‘Report a problem’ feature, or a separate letter addressed to Apple in Luxembourg.
This option is available for all digital purchases through iTunes, the App Store, Mac Store and iBooks Store. The right of withdrawal does not apply to physical credit cards such as iTunes Gifts whose code has already been redeemed.
Possible abuse
Because there is no reason is needed, in principle under the new conditions possible paid apps or to use it for a fortnight, but the money again to get back.
iOS users could for example buy a game and play it, and then still the money back guarantee to use make.
Previously treated Apple only such requests on an individual basis and was given no general guarantee. Competitor Google has in its Google Play store a money back guarantee of up to two hours after purchase.
