“Youth Call Increasingly Less” – Androidics

Youth in the Netherlands call less and less. A quarter of young people between 13 and 19 years almost never calls. This emerges from a survey by the GfK

Young people calling less and less by the rise of popular chat services. Thus, 84 percent of youths between 13 and 19 years active on WhatsApp and makes 74 percent of people use Facebook. Twitter is used by 30 percent.

A big difference between young people and can be seen over the 20 years in the numbers of Snap Chat. Thus does 9 percent of all Dutch use Snap Chat, while less than 55 percent of people using this service.

From the same survey also shows that 96 percent of all young people a smartphone and 65 percent a tablet. This is a higher percentage (60 percent) than desktop users among young people. About 1.5 percent of young people have a smart watch.
