A British biochemist who won the Nobel Prize for Medicine, Tim Hunt, has resigned after he made sexist remarks
Hunt said during a conference of science journalists that he was a supporter of laboratories with men only, because “girls are in love and cry when they get criticized.”
According to The Guardian took Hunt Wednesday resigned from University College London because of that statement. “UCL was the first university in England that allowed women on equal terms with men and the university believes that this solution fits our promise to treat the sexes equally,” the university provides
