Google Maps CEO moves to Uber – Telegraaf.nl

A top executive of Google Maps, Brian McClendon, moves to Taxi app Uber. This report Recode

McClendon is the former head of the map department of Google. It seems therefore that Uber this puts his card information firmer wants to get into hands. The taxi app now works with integrated versions of Google or Apple card.

Map Company deCarta was acquired earlier by Uber. The card division of Nokia, Lord, would have received an offer of Uber. McClendon was in charge of Google Earth, Maps and Street View. Before Google, he worked for Keyhole, which was acquired in 2004 by tech company
