Again confusion about ‘free’ Windows 10 – Telegraaf.nl

Who now there is and who is not a free version of Windows 10 get is rather unclear. Developer Microsoft showed last weekend that everyone who now uses the test version, soon can switch. But the company has returned to again

.

Although Windows 10 until July 29 officially released, interested parties may already an early version used to test the software. This version is free, although it was expected that people who use it, will soon have to pay just as it is upgraded to the regular version, unless those people already using Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 have been upgraded. For these users, the update will be free because anyway.

Microsoft made this weekend announced that testers will soon be able to update to a legitimate version of Windows 10, regardless of whether they already qualify for this upgrade. However, the page on which it was announced on Sunday, again adjusted so that now it is unclear whether this offer still applies. The suspicion now is that users who will upgrade from a trial version of Windows 10 may continue to use the software for personal use and also get all of its updates.

It is not the first time that there is confusion about who Well soon get a free update. Previously, Microsoft did believe that people who illegally downloaded running a version of Windows 7 or Windows 8.1 will soon be free to install Windows 10, but as it turned out to be wrong at all. These users may have to update their system, but run in the eyes of Microsoft later again an ‘illegal’ version
