It predicts IDC. The market analyst expects that this year a total of 31.3 million Windows smartphones will be shipped, a decrease of 10.2 percent compared to a year earlier.
The market share of Windows on the smartphone market would thus amount to 2.2 percent. That percentage will the next four years but very light to grow 2.3 percent in 2019, IDC expects. The number of devices shipped Windows would have increased by 11.4 in 2019 to 43.6 million shipped units

Android continues with a worldwide market share of 81.2 percent this year far the largest smartphone operating system, predicts market researcher. Apple’s iOS is in second place with a market share of 15.8 percent. Also, these percentages will change little according to IDC, over the next four years.
Declining growth
The market analyst has also been forecast for the entire smartphone market this year downwards, and predicts that are sold throughout 2015 a total of 1.43 billion smartphones; an increase of 9.8 percent.
Earlier IDC went from a growth of 11.3 percent compared to 2014. This was later adjusted once already at 10.4 percent. It would be the first time that the smartphone market in a year averaged less than 10 percent growth
