LG unveils new version of WebOS Smart TV at CES 2016 – Hifi

During the CES in Las Vegas in 2016 LG unveils the latest smart TV lineup, powered by the latest WebOS smart TV platform. LG WebOS 3.0 TV navigation should be intuitive functions make. WebOS 3.0 is building on the key features, and introduces several innovations to improve the operating system.

WebOS 3.0 offers three new features: Magic Zoom Magic Mobile Connection and improved Magic Remote. Magic Zoom allows users to enlarge objects and letters. Magic Mobile Connection you can get through the LG TV Plus framework to access their apps on the big screen. The Magic Remote is also improved. By the addition of extra buttons, it has become easier to operate digital TV boxes of providers. The Screen Remote function is simplified and therefore easier to use

WebOS 3.0 introduces Channel Plus:. A variety of overlayed (OTT) content in a user-friendly format to give users more choice in digital content. Channel Plus offers combines a list of stations that OTT content to the known TV channels, so you can zap through the OTT content as you normally do while watching TV. Channel Plus can be controlled with an app that can make program recommendations via on-screen widgets. Thanks to a partnership with Xumo (www.xumo.com), Channel Plus offers both news broadcasters and publishers like Bloomberg, TIME Inc., and The Wall Street Journal, but also free entertainment on BuzzFeed and PopSugar. Fashion Media, from the growing Digital Networks and Multi-Channel Networks (MCNs), also will be available on Channel Plus as international channel packages
