Data Save money with fewer graphics

It’s been a time possible to enable Google Chrome’s data saving mode . You go to the Chrome settings and select the heading “Data Saving”. On that page you can enable the feature.

The traffic is then, if it does not concern protected pages, routed through Google’s servers and content is reduced there. This not only saves data, also loading on slow connections is faster.

Most of the data saving can be achieved in pictures and that’s exactly what Google is going to do. In India and Indonesia are slow data connections detected in Chrome users and (most) images, as long as the data saving mode is enabled, no longer automatically loaded. The user can then with a push of the button still win the images. Below you see an animated demonstration of the function.

If you can not see the animation, you can view it here.
