Microsoft Windows 10 clocked at 200 million installations in five months, according to unofficial sources. According to others, it comes down to a market share of around ten per cent.
It is WinBeta based on anonymous sources saying that Windows 10 has reached the milestone of 200 million installations. That’s appeared down to forty million installations per month since the OS this summer. Microsoft’s ambition is to reach one billion units in the first three years.
The most recent milestone that Microsoft itself was communicating was that of 110 million plant in October. In addition, that the company was currently fully urging to implement the free update, making it by some even comes across as if they have no other choice.
That the company is sitting on two hundred million installations similar to themselves not illogical. Thus we learn to StatCounter, Windows 10 has a market share of 10.85 percent which makes the system slightly larger than OS X and is slightly smaller than 8.x Windows.
Most upgrades likely to follow in the course of 2016. The upgrade to Windows 10 is still free until the summer and by that time will perform the first companies migrations.
