Astronomers discover habitable planet ‘near’ Earth – De Gelderlander

Australian astronomers have discovered a habitable planet – relatively speaking – is near the ground. The mysterious celestial body is barely fourteen light years (about 126 trillion kilometers) away from us and is the nearest habitable planet ever found outside our solar system.

The planet, which has been given the name of Wolf 1061 c, is located in the so-called Goudlokjegebied. ,, There is liquid water – and possibly even life – exist, ” said lead researcher Duncan Wright of the University of New South Wales according to ABC

The special observation was ten years of observations in advance. a telescope from Chile. Wolf 1061 c lies with two other planets close to a star. On one planet is too hot to survive and on the other too cold. But the circumstances to c, the middle one, are just right. This does not mean that the planet is similar to Earth; he is alone in mass for example, more than four times higher

Wind
Clumsy is that the tides on the planet ‘stuck.’; always the same side of the planet is directed to the corresponding ester, making it on one side, always warm and on the other is continuously cold. But thanks to strong winds on the planet moves the heat from the hot side a little to the fresh side.

Scientists continue in the coming years to further investigate the planet.
