“Over a third Dutch used music service Spotify ‘- NU.nl

According to research from Telecompaper Consumer Panel under 2900 Dutch. Only 8 percent of respondents say they do not know the service.

The study does not distinguish between the free and the paid version of Spotify. For paid subscriptions, the user receives no advertising and more features.

After Spotify Apple iTunes is used the most. A quarter of the Dutch used the software and 86 percent indicated that it is familiar with it.



Streaming Services

Other common streaming services to compete with Spotify his Soundcloud (11 percent); Apple Music (6 percent) and Deezer (5 percent). Also uses five percent of respondents Napster.

According to Telecompaper about 800,000 people Apple Music, which was launched in June. The service is known by 80 percent of respondents.

Apple Music is no distinction between people who use the app to manage a music collection and people who pay to stream music via Apple Music.
