Samsung Galaxy Note 6 may also receive Lite version – TechTastic

That Samsung is working on the Galaxy Note 6 does not come as a surprise, but according to a new rumor comes possibly a second variant of the high-end phablet. The company would include plans to bring a Galaxy Note 6 Lite on the market with excellent specifications, despite the fact that it is a cheaper version of the flagship.

It was rumored on Chinese microblogging site Weibo placed, wherein there is at the same time a comparison was made between the Galaxy Note 6 and the discs 6 Lite. Samsung would flagship will feature a 5.8-inch AMOLED screen with Quad HD resolution of 2560 x 1440 pixels, while the Note 6 Lite also get a 5.8-inch screen, but with a lower resolution of 1920 x 1080 pixels.

another difference between the Galaxy Note 6 and Note 6 Lite is the chipset used, as found under the hood of the Note 6 is probably the Snapdragon 823-sOC Qualcomm. This new chip is an improved version of the Snapdragon 820-soc, which among other things is used for the HTC 10 LG G5 and possibly soon also the Galaxy Note 6 Lite is powering. It is anticipated that there will be an Exynos version for the European market, but it is not entirely clear which processor Samsung will use these models.

The Galaxy Note 6 receives according to the information published less RAM compared to the flagship, but that makes the Lite version certainly not mediocre unit. Several sources have so far suggested that the Galaxy Note 6 features 6GB RAM, the Note 6 Lite should do with 4GB.

On paper it seems the Galaxy Note 6 Lite Galaxy S7 to be a bigger screen, lower resolution, not to mention the S Pen stylus. To date this is the only rumor that has appeared on the Galaxy Note 6 Lite and it’s probably wise to this news whatsoever with the proverbial grain of salt to take to you
