Jawbone stop production fitness tracker – Tech Insider – Telecompaper

Jawbone has stopped production of its fitness trackers and sold its inventory to third party. Writing least Tech Insider according to sources familiar with the matter. It is unknown to whom the inventory is sold.

Jawbone spent a total of three versions of its tracker on the market, namely the UP2, the UP3 and UP4. According to the sources, Jawbone have struggled to sell the devices after the company was forced to do the remainder at a substantial discount from the hand. It is not true that Jawbone completely stop the sale of fitness trackers, sources suggest.

Jawbone got about five years ago in the market for wearables and currently competes including Fitbit, Xiaomi, Garmin, Misfit and Fossil.
