D-Link presents at the Mobile World Congress a security camera with a viewing angle of 180 degrees.
Wide Eye HD 180 Panoramic Camera is the first consumer camera of its kind.
Similar cameras often have a viewing angle of 130 degrees. To see more of an area, the camera must rotate (which takes time), or you must correct several places.
Images are recorded in HD and can be stored on a micro SD card. In addition, the camera has features you may have come to expect from such devices. Consider notifications to your smartphone when noise or motion is detected, and an app + online portal where you can watch the action live. The camera is also wireless.
Record
To ensure that your micro sd is not loaded completely full with unnecessary images, you also can only start recordings to choose when the camera notices that something is wrong. Furthermore, the camera automatically switches to night vision.
D-Link brings the Wide Eye HD 180 Panoramic Camera in May on the market. The suggested retail price of which is 199 euros, the same price as the Nest Cam and Logitech Circle
.
