T-Mobile is Thursday stopped the direct delivery of MMS to Dutch customers. If the provider has decided after Stage Fright bug in Android.

A customer of T-Mobile will no longer mms’je itself, but it does a link to a web page where the message can still be viewed. This will prevent a video from being automatically loaded on the phone and thus can use the bug in Stage Fright.

The adjustment is temporary, so the provider has to know. If an update is available for smartphones T-Mobile will support the MMS messages. It is still unclear when exactly this will happen. T-mobile is the only complete what has adjusted the service or KPN advises customers to turn off the MMS function
