Hours of computer glitch in the hospital in Ede has been fixed – The Guardian

EDE – The technical failure that the Gelderse Vallei hospital in Ede wed night around 12.00 am found, was around 18.30 hours fixed. The hospital brought the news via Twitter to the outside. All patients who, because of the failure Wednesday, not they could go to one of the outpatient clinics in the hospital, get a new appointment.

Because of the computer failure had spoedpatiënten diversion to surrounding hospitals in Arnhem, Tiel, Amersfoort, reports the hospital.

Patients who have been in the hospital layers, could just keep. Also the spoedoperaties could find a way. All outpatient clinic appointments from patients, and scheduled surgeries are cancelled. Patients that an appointment had, are informed by telephone.

Plan B
How the failure can arise, it is not yet known. According to a spokesperson had a back-up system for the computers taking over, but that is due to unknown reasons did not happen.
