Future iPhones may be in the United States produced. Apple would look into options to move production.

Both Foxconn as Pegatron, the two Taiwanese companies responsible for the production of the iPhone, have been asked to be the move of the production to research, so reports the Nikkei Asian Review. Foxconn would this plan have supplied to Apple, while Pegatron refused by the high costs that would arise.

Foxconn, that for a large part of its turnover reliant on Apple, however, would have indicated that the production costs substantially would increase. Devices are now produced in China, where labour costs are lower and the production process is optimized. Total cost is therefore slightly more than 200 euro for a iPhone 7 to produce. Sources within Foxconn expect the costs to more than double when the production moved to the us.

iPhone production in America

Apple itself has not yet commented on the rumors. Provisionally, it seems that the company is preparing for the American presidency by Donald Trump. The businessman says jobs back to want to bring to the American manufacturing sector, and that China is an unfair advantage.

the two countries more will Trump a substantially higher import levy to enter. Apple and other companies would be a tax of 45 percent to have to pay to have products produced in China to the United States.
