Microsoft asks Insiders upgrade to test Windows 10 Mobile – Techzine

Microsoft has made available a new build of Windows Mobile 10 for Windows Insiders with the original Lumia runs on Windows Phone 8.1. The new build, the company should pay a lot closer to the rollout of Windows 10 Mobile to all the old Windows Phone devices. However, so far it has not, first Microsoft Insiders calls to test the process well.

Microsoft has just made available the new build on the Fast Ring. Furthermore, the company announced that this new build again brings some new features, but they work only if the upgrade is completely re-done from Windows Phone 8.1 and not from an existing Windows 10 Mobile test build.

Microsoft asks insiders also help to downgrade equally to Windows Phone 8.1 and then upgrade again to Windows 10 Mobile and give all possible feedback by things that stand out or do not go well during the upgrade process.

Microsoft has already some Windows 10 smartphones on the market, including the Lumia 950, Lumia 950XL, Lumia 650 and Lumia 550. However, there are still twenty models with Windows Phone 8.1 in the future have to be upgraded to 10 Windows Mobile. The expectation was that this would have happened long ago, but the challenge is probably larger than Microsoft had expected beforehand. Sometime this year will be able to make the transition almost anyone with a Windows Phone device, the question is anytime. Based on the call to properly test the upgrade process, Microsoft seems to be a long way.

To find out whether your Lumia may turn soon also Windows 10 you should just check the specifications. The device must have at least 1GB of RAM and at least 8GB of storage capacity. There are only a few Lumia’s which do not have here, the rest can simply upgrade later to Windows 10 Mobile.
