Windows 10 Mobile was released for existing phones. Many Lumia programs that currently run on Windows Phone 8.1 have rolled out the new operating system today to their device. Other models will follow later.
The upgrade to the new operating system comes more than eight months after the desktop version, and more than one and a half years after Microsoft announced Windows 10 would come from mobile devices.
Models
Initially, Windows 10 is rolled under the following models: Lumia 430, Lumia 435, Lumia 532, Lumia 535, Lumia 540, Lumia 635, Lumia 640 (and 640 XL) , Lumia 735, Lumia 830 and Lumia 930. Four existing models, the Lumia 950 and 950 XL, the Lumia 550 and Lumia 650, the most recent currently already running on Windows 10. These phones are already on sale now.

Over the air
The update is over-the-air sent, so users do not have to connect to the computer their phone.
Microsoft has created a special app, ‘update advisor “to see Lumia owners if their device gets the update.
One Windows
Windows 10 does on phones using the same architecture as the operating system on the desktop. This means that applications work across all devices. Windows 10 also has a long line of other improvements, such as improved menu structure and more personalization options.

Short
It was long unclear when Windows 10 Mobile was just released. Microsoft showed only sparsely know anything about the new OS, and set the deadline for the release of Windows 10 again and again.
