Withings has a new smart watch on put into market. These are the new Withings Steel HR smartwatch. Withings is a product of health and wearables which earlier this year acquired by Nokia. In Berlin at the IFA, the company presented the new Steel HR.
The Steel HR is a striking smartwatch. So it is at first glance an analog watch that has a small screen for notifications and information.
The Withings Steel HR looks like a normal watch and just like a normal watch provided with an analog dial . The technology and smart features are bent into a small round LCD display. At small screen displays different information. The smart watch is at the back equipped with a heart rate sensor. On the small LCD screen displays information such as; heartbeat, step count, distance traveled and the number of calories that are burned. The screen also shows which notifications come from the smartphone.
Smartphone app
There is also a smartphone app available. This app is available for iOS and Android. When the Withings Steel HR is connected to a smartphone, the watch is also able to provide notifications of new messages and phone calls. Through the app, it is possible to gain insight into all the information in a simple way
